They company are experiencing an exciting period of growth and are looking for an articulate and extremely efficient person to join their finance team. About the Role : This role will report into the Head of Finance and will have an integral part of the financial reporting team, parts of the accountancy is currently outsource and they are looking to bring this in-house over the next 6 months and the suitable candidate will heavily play a part on this. Responsibilities : Prepare daily bank reconciliations and ensure outstanding items are cleared meticulously Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts to ensure optimal use of liquidity Ensure the accounting system accurately and completely represents the nature of all transactions across all group entities (including prepayments and accruals) Assist the Head of Finance with the development of and evolution of financial controls and processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations Prepare the monthly management accounting pack and ensure the financial information contain therein is of high quality and accurate Produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations and be a point of contact for all balance sheet related queries and analysis Work with the Head of Finance to ensure compliance with the applicable accounting standards and regulations Qualifications : Must be qualified CIMA or ACA Required Skills : Previous background in financial services i.e. bank or alternative finance Ability to deliver with exceptional levels of accuracy and has fanatical attention to detail Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and driven to succeed Strong communication skills both written and oral Ability to analyse and dissect information and present results in a logical and understandable format for all stakeholders across the business Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications; experience with accounting software (Sage, Xero or similar) a plus This is a full time office based role with no flexibility for hybrid working. 25 Days Holidays plus bank holidays, good links for public transport and working in a dynamic and energetic working environment.
