Our client is a leading global law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Equity Capital Markets lawyer to join our renowned practice in London.
About the Role:
You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team advising on a wide range of high-profile ECM transactions, including:
- IPOs: Advising issuers and underwriters on all aspects of IPOs, including domestic and international offerings, dual-listings, and SPACs.
- SEOs: Advising on secondary offerings, rights issues, and other equity-linked securities.
- M&A: Advising on equity aspects of M&A transactions, including equity consideration, lock-up agreements, and other equity-related matters.
- Private Equity: Advising private equity clients on equity investments and exits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality legal advice to clients on complex ECM transactions.
- Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents, including offering memoranda, prospectuses, and other transaction-related documentation.
- Managing all aspects of ECM transactions, from initial client meetings to closing.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the development of the ECM practice.
Qualifications:
- Qualified lawyer with at least 3-6 years of post-qualification experience in ECM at a leading law firm.
- Strong academic record and excellent legal and commercial judgment.
- Proven experience in advising on a wide range of ECM transactions, including IPOs, SEOs, and M&A.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
