The position involves diverse data analytical tasks in the Client Services and Solutions department. Key responsibilities include addressing complex data transformation issues, creating data transformation specifications, delivering training and workshops, supporting project team members, and updating stakeholders on project progress. The role requires adherence to quality procedures throughout project life cycles. Job Purpose The Healthcare Data Analyst role is a pivotal multi-functional role covering a variety of analytical and implementation tasks within the Client Services and Solutions department which can include development and testing. Main Responsibilities Identifying and triaging complex data transformation issues and identifying solutions in agreement with clients Creation of data transformation, migration, and archive specifications from NHS data systems. Working with the Stalis Development team to successfully implement the specification Creation and delivery of training and workshops to clients and/or partners Providing support to other project team members as required Keeping customers/Project Managers/stakeholders up to date on progress of delivery of services Ensuring that all defined quality and security procedures are followed throughout the life cycle of the project This role requires occasional attendance at the customer site or, more typically, participation in remote meetings. Qualifications & Experience Experienced in of back-end healthcare systems, covering at least one of the systems below: EPR Systems Laboratory systems Other NHS / Healthcare Systems At least 3 years\’ experience of Microsoft T-SQL Querying and writing SQL Queries to analyse data, or similar RDBMS querying languages Experience as a Data Analyst or Data Migration Specialist, ideally working within Data Migration projects Experience in using the NHS Data Model within the NHS Experience in a customer facing/consultancy role, including the ability to facilitate sessions through MS Teams Strong MS Office skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot Knowledge of Jira Knowledge of Microsoft SSIS or equivalent ETL Tools Bachelor\’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
