We are seeking a professionally qualified accountant or suitably qualified by experience accountant, who will be responsible for providing insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations to empower the leadership team. Your main responsibilities will include: Assist in the year end audit and corporation tax statutory reporting. Production of insightful weekly and monthly management information to external audit level quality. Ensure VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax compliance across all group operating companies. Review the integrity of all group company balance sheet control account reconciliations. Work closely with the Group Financial Controller to introduce and improve internal control procedures. Partner with cross functional teams to develop and implement cost saving initiatives. Assist in the budgeting and reforecasting exercises. Analyse financial data using financial ratios, trend analysis and other techniques to identify areas for improvement. Work with the Group Financial Controller to update and document the consolidation process Applicants will ideally be fully qualified accountants (ACCA/ICAS/CIMA) or suitably qualified by experience). You will have full awareness of all current accounting standard, with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Teams and advanced use of Microsoft excel. You will be able to work independently, as well as part of the wider team to achieve the aims of the business.
