The predicted salary is between 25000 - 35000 £ per year.

This role is based within our Utility Solutions Practice, which provides utility-based products and services to a wide range of clients. Utility Solutions requires a Mapping Coordinator to support with the delivery of digital map-based solutions to our varied client base. Working to a high level of accuracy, the role focuses on the digitisation and georeferencing of raster data for the production of our Utility Search Map product, a composite digital model of utility assets. The role also entails the quality checking of outputs of other members of the team.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience using computer aided design software and GIS Mapping systems including AutoCAD and ArcGIS Pro
  • Knowledge of GIS methodologies and principles.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Clear, concise communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to identify, analyse and resolve problems.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • A high level of organisation and professionalism.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience of working in the utility industry, preferably in a service delivery environment.
  • Prior experience or knowledge of utilising technology for process efficiencies.
  • Experience in a client facing role.

Responsibilities

  • Quality checking of deliverables
  • Management of own workloads and raising any challenges to delivering this
  • Follow processes closely to digitise utility data accurately
  • Processing new orders
  • Liaise with other teams/clients/utility companies to resolve issues and build relationships
  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase the efficiency & productivity of the team's processes
  • Proactively identify opportunities to add value to the product / service we provide to our clients
  • To undertake additional ad hoc activities as required
  • Supporting other teams within our practice as required
