We are looking for an experienced Category Manager to join our team! You will collaborate closely with various internal departments including Store Operations, Logistics, Commercial/Buying and Marketing & Merchandising, as well as vendors to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products while maintaining optimal inventory levels to deliver availability while controlling waste and shrinkage.

Here’s What You’d Be Doing:
- Build and sustain effective relationships with our supplier network.
- Produce detailed analysis and insights on category opportunities, along with analytical support in the development of category plans.
- Develop and execute a clear assortment strategy to fit our on-demand delivery convenience offering.
- Analyse company data and external market data to determine key trends to drive category strategies.
- Engage with new businesses to increase brand awareness and product range.
- Work with internal teams across marketing, social, product and partnerships to optimise our customer offering, increase brand investments and hit company targets along with brand growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years category management/buying experience in Grocery.
- Creative problem solver with an eye for detail.
- Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proven experience of outstanding negotiation and procurement practices to achieve cost savings.
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.
