The post holder will have the opportunity to engage in core forensic work and the delivery of safety work as this is a key aspect of the role at any women’s prison. This will include the collaborative development of strengths-based plans based on psychological formulations which are designed to be a multiagency way of supporting staff to support women in custody and through into the community more effectively. Person specification Please Refer To The Job Description Licences Qualified and registered clinician with the HCPC Qualifications Qualified forensic or clinical psychologists with the HCPC or in the process of receiving HCPC registration. Where HCPC registration is not yet in place, confirmation of registration must be provided within 6 months of provisional offer Memberships Qualified and registered clinician with the HCPC Languages Spoken and Written English Behaviours We\’ll assess you against these behaviours during the selection process: Communicating and Influencing Developing Self and Others Making Effective Decisions Working Together Technical skills We\’ll assess you against these technical skills during the selection process: Possess a professional background in Psychology Experience in providing clinical supervision Completed relevant training in effective models of treatment and best practise Qualified forensic or clinical psychologists with the HCPC or in the process of receiving HCPC registration.
