Main Purpose of Role
Collaborate with sales, customers, and suppliers to develop accurate Service & Remedial quotations, including follow-up to order.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Support customers by responding to commercial requests.
- Handle enquiries professionally, adhering to policies and deadlines.
- Review technical requirements and issue quotations with comments on deviations.
- Coordinate with suppliers on non-standard items, lead times, and costs.
- Prepare technical submittals with detailed product information.
- Coordinate fan selections with Engineering and support functions.
- Verify system calculations with customers and suppliers, and submit for approval.
- Provide technical guidance and high-level customer service.
- Identify upselling opportunities and liaise with Sales for follow-up.
- Maintain accurate costing data for quotations.
- Achieve a minimum of 90% on-time quotation delivery and communicate delays.
- Follow up on quotations and support order intake targets.
- Ensure smooth handover of information to Operations/Project Management.
- Participate in project handovers and kick-off meetings as needed.
Qualifications
- Highly motivated with excellent commercial skills.
- Experience in manufacturing or equipment servicing environments.
- Ability to create accurate quotations and costing reports.
- Effective communication skills across all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Good prioritization skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Understanding of contract terms and conditions.
- Proficient in Excel and MS Office; knowledge of Woods products is advantageous.
- Experience or understanding of the ventilation, air movement, or smoke control industry is a plus.
