MacGregor Black is pleased to be recruiting a Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic and growing privately owned food business. We are looking for a skilled professional to support the finance function and work closely with operations as a trusted finance business partner. This is a fully remote role, offering flexibility for both full-time and part-time options.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on costings and margin analysis to ensure accurate product pricing and profitability insights.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Prepare management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Work closely with operations teams to provide financial insights and drive efficiencies.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Assist with financial reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
What are we looking for?
  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the food & drink or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in costings and financial modelling.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to business partner effectively with operations and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
