Whitehall Resources are looking for a VisionPlus Developer. This role involves working with hybris, with 3 days per week on-site in Sheffield and the remainder remote, for an initial 6-month contract.
The role will involve liaising with internal engineering teams, DevOps tooling teams, legal, risk management, cyber security, and external software providers. It is suited for candidates with a strong technical background who wish to contribute to organizational improvements through continuous activities.
Skills and Experience:
- Good understanding of Credit Card Systems; WINGSFM/VMX knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with VisionPLUS Online architecture, CICS, and online component coding/debugging.
- Knowledge of CMS module.
- Experience in production support and all SDLC phases.
- Ability to independently create functional and technical design documents and high/low level designs.
- Strong communication skills.
- 5–15 years of significant software development experience.
- Experience in technical team and stakeholder management, governance, and reporting.
- Ability to work autonomously under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Experience with global initiatives and working with teams across multiple locations.
- Hands-on engineering skills in VisionPlus technologies (CMS, FAS, VMx, TRAMS, IAS) and mainframe technologies (Cobol, CICS, JCL, IAM, VSAM, EZT, File-Aid/Manager).
