Assessor in Health and Social Care Location: North Wales based (interested candidates must live in or near North Wales) Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This role is subject to a DBS check. The cost of the DBS check will be met by the company. Core Responsibilities Deliver training programmes to assigned learners, ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved. Travel regionally to visit learners in the workplace and undertake assessments. Complete Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and map out learning routes for individuals. Reference and assess evidence collected in the workplace for key skill requirements. Maintain learner attendance records and contact hours, ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Contribute to planning, monitoring, and achieving performance targets. Arrange further training through day release and deliver in-house training support as required. Maintain records of client achievements and meet performance criteria set by relevant awarding bodies. Skills and Experience Essential Criteria Experience of delivering training within the required area. Experience of Work-Based Learning. Knowledge of Awarding Body Practices. A1 Assessor Award or equivalent qualification. Experience as an Assessor. ESW Communication Level 2. ESW Application of Number Level 2. Occupational experience within the route of delivery. Experience delivering apprenticeships in the relevant route. Full driving license and own vehicle. Desirable Criteria City & Guilds 9300 Level 2 in supporting adults and young people in essential skills (or willingness to work towards). #J-18808-Ljbffr
