Delivery Technician

The Delivery Technician, working closely with the Customer Care team, will prioritize, handle, and implement all dispatches from the PUK factory. This role supports business growth, exceeds customer expectations, and maintains high-quality standards and trade compliance.

Responsibilities:

1. Accurately pick stock items according to outgoing paperwork, ensuring customer requirements are met.
2. Prepare shipping documentation, including customs paperwork, using templates to meet deadlines, and maintain quality and compliance records.
3. Liaise with carriers to coordinate deliveries and handle any import clearance delays.
4. Maintain accurate records using company computer systems, including stock transfers and adjustments.
5. Participate in internal and external training as required.
6. Be flexible with working hours during periods of high workload.
7. Manage dispatches via post or courier services.
8. Contribute to a positive team environment.
9. Anticipate and resolve obstacles in job performance.
10. Demonstrate resilience, optimism, and adaptability to change.
11. Train and supervise Junior Delivery Technicians.

Candidate Profile:

Customer-focused with the ability to handle complex tasks efficiently and accurately. Adapt communication styles to diverse audiences. Experience working under deadlines in a target-driven environment. Self-motivated, reliable, positive, and adaptable to change.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with standard stores and delivery processes.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with PC skills relevant to the role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
