You and your engagement can contribute to shape the future of renewable energies. ENERCON Ireland are now recruiting for a Major Component Exchange Technician to be based in Thurles, Co. Tipperary. This role will involve 100% Travel throughout Ireland, UK and Europe. Main Roles, Responsibilities and Expectations: Work as a member of the Update Support Team, performing works on ENERCON wind turbines on wind energy sites all over Ireland and abroad Undertake physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions Responsible for checking all components to ensure the high manufacturing standards are met at all times Responsible for various aspects of the mechanical installation of the installation or update project Work together with subcontractors on site Any other duties as required as instructed by the Update Support Manager, Team Leader, Second Person Qualifications and Profile: Previous experience working on wind farm sites is beneficial A valid Safe Pass Card essential Banksman / Slinger Course, CSCS Card, Telescopic Loader Ticket and/or MEWP are all a distinct advantage Full, clean driving license essential Proficient in MS Office applications Ability to manage work load effectively Physically fit and comfortable with heights High mobility is essential – willingness to move and to travel nationwide and abroad Ability to multitask and work to deadlines and targets Have a positive, pro-active approach to working in a team environment along with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills Your Benefits Private Health Insurance Pension Contribution Scheme Dental Insurance Paid Maternity & Paternity Leave Employee Assistance Program Bike to Work Scheme Educational Assistance Full PPE Gear World class in-house training Career Progression Opportunities Sports & Social Club Employee Referral Program ENERCON retains the right to advertise all positions both internally and externally.
