Town and Country Veterinary Group, Clayton-Le-Moors, Accrington, North West We are seeking a reliable and professional receptionist to join our team at Town & Country Veterinary Group at our Clayton-Le-Moors branch. You will have good communication skills as you will be the first point of contact for our clients, you will have good organisational skills, can work alone or as part of a team. Knowledge of word, excel and email is preferred. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greeting clients and their pets on arrival Efficiently managing the diaries, booking/cancelling or re-arranging appointments, handling online bookings and maintaining client records Promoting the Pet Health Club and all other initiatives that are running in the practice Processing payments, cashing up at the end of the day Managing client orders and repeat prescriptions Working pattern This is a part time position working evenings and Saturdays, averaging 23hrs/week. The shift times are Monday-Friday 4:30pm-7:30pm, and Saturdays 8am-5pm. About Town & Country Veterinary Group Town and Country Veterinary Group is based in Lancashire within easy reach of Manchester and Liverpool. We are a well-established practice with 3 branches. Our practices are well equipped with all the normal toys that you\’d expect. At both Blackburn and Clayton-Le-Moors we possess digital x-ray, a separate theatre and prep area, surgical electrocautery, multi-parameter monitor, haematology and biochemistry in house, a modern laptop ultrasound machine based out of Blackburn, and the option of a visiting specialist ultrasound service at all sites for those more complex cases. Whalley serves as a branch feeding more complex cases into these two but does still possess a biochemistry machine and space for minor surgical procedures. Currently we have 8 Veterinary Surgeons, 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse,1 Veterinary Care assistant, 7 Receptionists, 1 Admin, 1 Practice Manager and a Clinical Director.
