About The Role Job Summary: We are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented candidate to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of our office and depot operations. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting procurement, administration, fleet coordination, training, health and safety compliance, and internal communications, helping to maintain a professional and efficient workplace. Key Responsibilities: Procurement & Finance Support Raise purchase orders and requisitions in line with company policies Maintain the procurement tracker to ensure accurate and up-to-date records Manage new supplier onboarding processes and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant Office & Site Administration Manage and maintain the office email inbox and SharePoint sites Order and track office supplies, including stationery, PPE, and IT accessories Handle incoming and outgoing post in a timely manner Maintain the employee asset register, ensuring all issued equipment is logged and tracked Employee Training & Travel Support Process staff timesheets, working hours, and mileage records for payroll purposes Coordinate travel arrangements for staff Maintain the company training matrix to ensure all employee training records are current Organise and book any required employee training courses, ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational requirements Fleet & Vehicle Management Oversee the daily management of company vehicles Ensure vehicle check sheets are completed and recorded accurately Schedule regular servicing, MOTs, and inspections for all fleet vehicles Coordinate with service providers for vehicle repairs and replacements when needed Manage booking and return of temporary or replacement vehicles to avoid downtime Health, Safety & Compliance Support and participate in audits and accreditation activities Carry out general HSE duties related to site operations, including fire alarm checks and basic safety inspections Front Office Duties Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional manner Greet visitors and ensure they are directed or assisted appropriately Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience & Skills: Minimum grade C in GSCE English and maths Good written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational skills Ability to prioritise workload effectively and meet deadlines Accuracy and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Flexibility and willingness to take on different roles/tasks as required About The Company KUS Power Engineering, part of the BRUSH Group, is a design and build, high voltage, electrical contractor committed to outstanding customer service and the safe delivery of turnkey substation projects from 11kV to 275kV.
