Are you an experienced Registered Nurse passionate about working in urgent care services and wound care management? Do you want to work in a forward-thinking, diverse, and rewarding environment? An opportunity has arisen for band 5 Registered Nurses to work within a wound care clinic based at Soho Centre for Health and Care. This is a brand-new service, so you will gain experience in supporting the team leads during the development phase and day-to-day running of the service. The service will run 7 days a week and will be part of the walk-in centre based at Soho.

You will be part of our broader dynamic team which works in the scope of advanced practice. As a highly valued member of our team, the quality of care we provide starts with you. We pride ourselves on our registered nurses being up to date with the latest evidence-based practices as well as being supportive of our staff in their professional development. Applications will also be considered from band 4 Nursing Associates with in-house training and development.

Responsibilities:
  • The nurse will assess, manage, and treat a variety of acute and chronic wounds, post-operative wounds, and minor burns.
  • Actively contribute to the prevention of avoidable deterioration of wounds.
  • Use expert knowledge and skill in the management of simple and complex wound care to aid the recovery and healing process.
  • Support the team lead in the daily operation of the service and provide holistic care to service users.
