About the role To ensure the administrative and organisational activities within the academy are effectively and efficiently maintained and provide excellent service to the overall running of the academy. This will include a range of financial procedures, including placing orders, invoicing, banking cash, issuing receipts, reconciling petty cash/procurement cards and dealing with supplier issues. There will be extensive liaison with pupils, parents/carers, other staff and external agencies. With a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, including the academy\’s \’Single Central Record\’, the role involves the input, analysis and evaluation of data and information and running reports, including processing monthly payroll. There is also responsibility for monitoring pupil attendance and running relevant reports. General administrative tasks will include word-processing and IT based tasks including operation of relevant equipment and advanced ICT packages; organise and provide administrative support for meetings and take notes; produce, and respond to, correspondence; process forms, returns, etc., including those to outside agencies and day-to-day management of the administrative team. The role requires the skills to respond to reception and visitor enquiries and make arrangements for academy visits and events, management of any academy lettings and other uses of the academy. Excellent organisational and time management skills, works with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving. Resolves office-related issues and responds to requests as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
