Your Day-to-Day
As an Assistant Contracts Manager, you will support the coordination and smooth delivery of projects across client sites. From procurement and compliance to client interaction and documentation, you will gain a well-rounded skill set and learn what it takes to manage contracts independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Support: Assist in coordinating the delivery of maintenance, façade access, and safety system contracts across client sites
- Procurement & Supplier Liaison: Help manage supplier relationships, source materials, and track assets
- Compliance & HSE: Support compliance with internal standards and health & safety policies, including working at height and rope access
- Project Planning: Assist with planning and scheduling works, helping ensure delivery is on time and within budget
- Client Support: Contribute to client relationships and look for opportunities to add value
- Documentation & CRM: Maintain records using CRM tools and help prepare project documentation and reports
- Team Coordination: Liaise with subcontractors and support internal initiatives around wellbeing and recruitment
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Some experience in project delivery, operations, or coordination — ideally in construction, FM, or building maintenance
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Confident communicator with internal teams and clients
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Desirable:
- Exposure to building maintenance, roofing, façades, or safety/access systems
- Awareness of health & safety practices (e.g. IOSH/NEBOSH)
- Experience working at height or with access systems is a plus
