Role overview
FRP Advisory is seeking a skilled Senior Associate or Assistant Manager to join our experienced, dynamic and growing Financial Advisory team in London. The ideal candidate will be ACCA or ACA (or equivalent) qualified with modelling experience and an advisory or transaction services background. This role involves the preparation of financial models for use by lenders and private equity clients on transactions, as well as data analytics to support our clients’ strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial modelling: Assist in the preparation of structured three-statement financial forecast models using appropriate inputs and clear outputs. Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to articulate and agree presentation and variables in the production of financial models. Ensure quality control and adherence to modelling standards. Assist with the review of complex financial models for our clients.
- Data analytics: Analyse large data sets with the use of Power BI, Power Query or equivalents. Critically evaluate and observe underlying trends and raise these with teams. Input into discussions with internal project teams and with clients regarding the data analytics workstreams.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and objectives. Proactively engage with project teams of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Promote continuous learning and professional development within the team. Work closely with Partners and Directors on engagements. Ensure the delivery of high-quality services in line with the firm’s standards and client expectations.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- ACCA, ACA or CFA (or equivalent) qualified.
- Advanced Excel with at least 1 year financial modelling or data analytics experience in a consultancy or advisory environment.
- Proficiency with data analytics tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau (or equivalent).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
