We’re excited to partner with a fast-growing eCommerce fulfilment business, operating across the UK and Ireland, on the search for a new Operations Director. With a strong foundation already in place, the business has doubled £MM revenue and is on track to double again in the next 12–18 months.

This is a hands-on, strategic leadership opportunity for someone with deep fulfilment centre experience, strong operational instincts, and the desire to shape the next phase of growth for a multi-client, multi-channel business.

Your Role:

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end operations function across two busy fulfilment sites. With a significant client base (serving both D2C and B2B), this is a complex environment requiring someone who can maintain exceptional service levels while building scalable systems, processes, and culture. You’ll be supported by two site leads and a broader operations team—but your leadership will be critical to setting and sustaining high standards, driving performance, and preparing the infrastructure for further expansion.

As the role covers two sites, there will be some travel and open to someone be based at either of the two sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic leadership of the day-to-day operations across both fulfilment centres, and leading on the long term operational strategy.
• Mentor and develop a passionate growing team to create a culture of high performance and accountability.
• Drive and exceed standards across the sites, instilling a continuous improvement culture, assessing opportunities and innovative solutions to problems.
• Evaluate and drive the expansion strategy, including future sites, automation upgrades, and WMS improvements.

What You’ll Bring:

• Senior leadership experience in a multi-site/user in eCommerce, fulfilment, or 3PL environment, ideally serving both D2C and B2B channels.
• A track record of scaling operations, implementing structure and standards, and driving measurable performance improvement.
• Hands-on leadership style, with the ability to lead from the front, build trust with teams, and manage change effectively.
• Proven ability to balance strategy and execution—comfortable presenting to the board, but equally ready to roll up your sleeves on-site.
