About the Company
Our client is an established independent plastics business that is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team. The business is a historic animal and livestock feed manufacturer who have centuries of experience within its field. You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team of Maintenance Engineers who will be responsible for all electrical maintenance, installations, upgrades and breakdowns.
Requirements
- Previous experience working within a large manufacturing
- BS 7671 18th edition wiring regulation
- BS 2391 Inspection and Testing
- Must be familiar with the industrial environment
Responsibilities
- Maximising plant up time and minimising plant down time.
- Communicating at all levels of engineering and production departments the status of plants and ongoing projects.
- Investigating, reporting, and resolving repetitive engineering faults.
- Maintaining the maintenance system logs, follow up actions, fault, and diagnosis.
- Carrying out risk assessments, issuing permits to work and supervising engineering contractors.
- Designing, building, and commissioning control system upgrades and plant improvement projects.
- Carrying out inspection and testing of electrical installations and portable appliances.
- Organising and supervising planned work.
