The Role:
Our client has a requirement for Plater Welders for a shutdown on a chemicals plant near Barry, S Wales. Duties will include:
- Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
- Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
- Repairing heat distorted steel plate
- MMA tack welding
Requirements:
- CCNSG card
- NVQ / City & Guilds qualification
- Experience of working on industrial sites ie power stations, refineries, steelworks
