As a Budweiser On-Trade Account Manager – Peterborough, this role focuses on account management to maximize existing relationships and on winning and developing new accounts. A strong candidate will be an outstanding relationship builder, with the ability to sell from our premium portfolio.
This role is field-based, covering postcodes NG31, NG32, NG33, NG34, Le15, NN17, NN18, PE1, PE2, PE3, PE4, PE5, PE6, PE7, PE8, PE9, PE10, PE11, PE12, PE13, PE14, PE15, PE16, PE26, PE27, PE28, PE29, PE30, PE34. A current UK Driving Licence is required.

We have an exciting opportunity for an On-Trade Account Manager to join our Independent Free Trade Team, based in Peterborough. The On-Trade Account Manager will represent Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I, managing a number of accounts, delivering the best customer service and supporting our wholesale partners to grow sales across our amazing portfolio.
This role will support customers in Peterborough.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Focused on both account management to maximise existing relationships, whilst also putting significant focus on winning and developing new accounts.
- Developing account plans that will drive and protect growth across multiple operators.
- Hitting volume and revenue targets across our wholesale partners.
- Develop a strong network of working relationships across the ledger from Head Office contacts, Wholesale Salesforce, internal Wholesale Key Account Managers, Technical Support.
- Demonstration of commercial acumen and delivery of KPI results.
- Leading key activations, and communicating with the wider team to ensure perfect execution of our brand activities.
- Differentiate our brands through innovative support that adds value to our customers.
- Tracking account performance versus investment to maintain the best outcome for the business.
- Presenting quarterly reviews on the performance of key accounts and forward planning to deliver against budget.
- Set volume goals with each customer, and agree the brand support, that delivers against the objectives.
- Develop key industry relationships (DJ\’s, promoters, local and on-trend media companies etc) that result in business-building initiatives.
Who we’re looking for
- Strong work ethic, persistence, resilience, and interest in developing a career with us.
- Excellent local market knowledge, contacts, and experience in beer or similar industry.
- Ownership — take your results personally and lead by example.
- Excellent relationship-building with customers, consumers, internal and external stakeholders.
- Great communication skills and the ability to manage and cultivate relationships.
- Negotiation and objection-handling skills as well as commercial acumen.
- Confident in written and spoken English, with knowledge of commercial math.
- Ability to manage time and workload to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.
- On-trade experience is desirable, as is experience of working with premium/super-premium brands.
- This role is field-based, so a current UK Driving Licence is required.
