Acorn Insurance are looking for Motor Third Property Damage Handlers to join our expanding Claims Team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a busy and thriving department and join us on our journey to be market leaders. Experience dealing with Defendant Third Party Insurance Claims is preferred. The successful candidate will effectively manage a portfolio of motor Insurance claims with a combined value of more than £1million. You will be provided with continuous development to help you build your technical and commercial decision-making skills, to ensure indemnity spend is minimised on road traffic collision claims. Role : Property Damage Claims Handler Working hours : Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm, 37.5 hours per week Salary : Between £25,877 – £29,777 DOE, plus an up to £1,500 performance related bonus per annum, paid quarterly once established within your role. What you will be doing: Validate all motor claims for indemnity and fraud Proactive and correct assessment of liability following investigations of a road traffic collision Accurate quantum assessment of third-party vehicle damages presented using the relevant tools available to assist and further losses relating to motor insurance claims.
