SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Enfield Salary: 85 – 90 per day Job type: Long-term, temporary Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm Start date: September 2025 End date: Ongoing Year group: KS1/EYFS Tradewind are seeking a strong Teaching Assistant who is eager to support children with mixed learning abilities, including children with special educational needs. We will also welcome applications from Graduates looking to progress in Education with no current classroom-based experience, or those with Nannying experience. About the role: This is a mixed ability class, and some pupils are diagnosed with SEN The role will include working in groups and on a 1:1 basis with pupils who require extra support Lead interventions when necessary Create stimulating learning resources to encourage academic progress Help to set up and tidy up at the start and end of lessons Requirements: Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant is ideal but not essential Must have lots of initiative and a pro-active approach Bachelor\’s degree is ideal but not essential This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained You must have the legal right to work in the UK About the School: 3 form entry school Rated Outstanding by Ofsted SEN provision part of school site Child led learning approach Click \’Apply Now\’ to be considered for this position as a Teaching Assistant in Barnet.
