Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer? Join a long-established and respected Machinery Manufacturing Company where you'll work with a variety of machinery, keeping operations running smoothly through planned maintenance and reactive breakdown support.

This is a hands-on, varied role where you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of machinery, including machine shop mills, lathes, drills, sheet metal & fabrication machines, and hand tools. You'll also be involved in assembling and fitting new equipment, handling general site maintenance, and even carrying out basic electrical and plumbing tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair engineering machinery across the site
  • Assemble and fit new equipment
  • Carry out basic electrical work and site-wide maintenance
  • Handle general plumbing and facility upkeep
  • Respond to breakdowns and follow planned maintenance schedules
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with mechanical maintenance in an engineering/manufacturing setting
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations in an engineering environment

Working Hours

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
  • Friday: 7:30 am - 12:00 noon (overtime available)
