- Report any machine malfunctions or issues promptly.
- Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Perform routine machine maintenance.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience
Essential:
- Technical knowledge and understanding of laser cutting machines, including their operations and maintenance.

- Physical abilities to handle metals and stand for long periods; however, sophisticated manual handling equipment is provided for lifting steel sheets.
- Accuracy and attention to detail to ensure precision in cutting and minimise wastage of materials.
- Basic computer skills for operating computer-controlled machines and performing tasks like programming and adjusting machine settings.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
- Experience in using measurement tools like callipers for accurate measurements of products.
Desirable:
- Laser machine operator experience: 2 years (preferred)
