A fantastic opportunity has arisen due to business growth, as a skilled and experienced Missile Test Architect is sought to join a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the test and testability aspects of the missile.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure design for test considerations are applied during project development
- Specify missile level factory, in-service, and BIT routines
- Work closely with manufacturing and design teams to ensure the final product is fully testable
- Identify and minimise gaps in test coverage
- Take ownership of the test and testability aspects of the missile
- Generate and manage compliance with lower-level test requirements for design teams
- Analyse and model systems to determine test coverage and generate diagnostic instructions
- Collaborate with the Chief Design Engineer to make cost vs test coverage trade-offs
The successful candidate will have:
- Substantial experience in test, electrical, or electronic engineering
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: digital electronics, microprocessor systems, analogue electronics, electronics testing, or test equipment design
- Good understanding of gathering requirements, overseeing projects, creating plans, and managing relationships with key customers
This position offers a lucrative benefits package, which includes but is not inclusive of:
