Alma Medical Centre based in Southampton is looking for an operations manager to join their team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the practice and business managers, this role involves managing the administrative functions, assisting with HR matters and supporting the implementation of policies and procedures for the surgery.

Main duties of the job:- Day to day support to the other manager.
- Ensure the efficient running of the reception, appointment bookings whilst monitoring demand.
- Overseeing medical record management.
- Point of contact for queries.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Manage any patient feedback and/or complaints.
- Assist in recruitment, inductions and training.
- Manage rotas and absence management.
- Monitor compliance.
Alma Medical Centre is a 4-partner practice caring for about 10,000 patients in the central Southampton city area. The surgery is a focal point for the local community and was rated as good in our most recent CQC inspection.

Person SpecificationQualifications Essential:- A relevant qualification in business management, or equivalent qualification or experience.

- Ability to work without direct supervision and determine own workload priorities.
