Job title: Business Development Manager (In Vitro Diagnostic Devices) UK and Ireland Reporting to: Sales Manager IVD – EIMEA Location: UK or Ireland Homebased About the role Here at BSI we are seeking a Business Development Manager focussing on our In Vitro Diagnostic Devices (IVD)products. The role will be responsible for managing and cultivating new business opportunities for the development of long-term business partnerships and create superior value for our In Vitro Diagnostic Device clients through sales of our full solutions portfolio. Responsibilities: Being responsible for proposing and closing contracts that will achieve total revenue growth (sales and annuity), profit and customer satisfaction plans for the In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) market. Identifying, articulate and implement full suite of BSI products, solutions and services to In Vitro Diagnostic clients. Articulate and position full spectrum of BSI products, services and solutions to key departmental decision makers. Identify and qualify clients by establishing a relationship to ensure an active and continuous new and expanded business pipeline that exceeds strategic, annual, and quarterly targeted sales projections. Develops a territory plan that is consistent with short-range and long-range sales goals of the business. Demonstrate a sales forecasting capability which will, in the short-term, make possible efficient scheduling, provide superior customer service, and control costs and in the long-term, provide information for business planning, resource planning and budgeting. Keeps well informed on industry changes, participates where possible in organizations directly involved with our prime markets, and continually works to improve sales techniques and sales knowledge. Conduct face to face customer visits in order to achieve assigned sales targets. To be successful in the role, you will: Have a proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets and expectations. IVD industry experience would be preferred however we are open to great BDM\’s with technical sales experience. Expertise in B2B sales and winning new customers. Excellent sales, negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to develop executive level relationships and engage with the customer to establish an understanding of their business drivers and how BSI can enable them to become more efficient.
