VANRATH are delighted to be working exclusively with a manufacturing organisation in Belfast to recruit a Management Accountant to join the growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity in the NI market offering the successful candidate the opportunity to work within a thriving environment. This is an interim opportunity for 6 months with a view to being made permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the monthly management accounts including accruals, prepayments, analysis and reporting.
- Update and maintenance of fixed asset register ensuring compliance to company policy.
- Monthly bank reconciliations to include foreign currency.
- Production of statutory and non-statutory external reporting including VAT returns.
- Assist the credit control and account payable functions.
- Support the implementation of system and processes changes across the finance department.
- Assistance with the year-end statutory audit, audits and quarterly reviews.
- Supporting finance leadership team in implementing proper systems of internal control and governance, within the business.
The Person:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) ideally with 1 year PQE (Part Qualified will also be considered).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills, experience using SAGE.
