Management Accountant (Belfast/Exclusive)

Management Accountant (Belfast) VANRATH are delighted to be working exclusively with a manufacturing organisation in Belfast to recruit a Management Accountant to join the growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity in the NI market offering the successful candidate the opportunity to work within a thriving environment. This is an interim opportunity for 6 months with a view to being made permanent. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with the monthly management accounts including accruals, prepayments, analysis and reporting. Update and maintenance of fixed asset register ensuring compliance to company policy. Monthly bank reconciliations to include foreign currency. Production of statutory and non-statutory external reporting including VAT returns. Assist the credit control and account payable functions. Support the implementation of system and processes changes across the finance department. Assistance with the year-end statutory audit, audits and quarterly reviews. Supporting finance leadership team in implementing proper systems of internal control and governance, within the business. The Person: Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) ideally with 1 year PQE (Part Qualified will also be considered) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
