We are seeking a Senior Sales & Events Coordinator to join the team at Kents Hill Park.

Role Expectations:

  • Lead training and development of new team members to meet company standards within probation.
  • Support the Sales Office Manager daily to achieve venue targets and support the team.
  • Assist in delivering monthly financial results through strategic planning and diary optimization.
  • Contribute to weekly & monthly reports, including forecasting and business reviews.
  • Respond to electronic enquiries promptly and work with E-sales coordinators to maximize conversions.
  • Develop rate strategies for M&E aligned with budget expectations.
  • Handle reservations for bedrooms for events and transient guests.
  • Attend all mandatory and job-specific training.
  • Provide high levels of customer care during the event process.
  • Maximize sales and revenue by approaching sales opportunities positively.
  • Respond to customer enquiries within venue guidelines.
  • Manage diary efficiently to optimize conference yield.
  • Maintain sales information in Opera following company guidelines.
  • Attend operational meetings to represent the sales department.
  • Support invoicing processes to ensure timely and accurate billing.
  • Assist the Director of Sales/Sales Manager with new leads and client events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and be aware of competitors' offerings.
  • Comply with health and safety legislation and actively report issues and conduct training.
  • Familiarize with Accident & Maintenance and Fire safety procedures.
  • Support wider Operations Team and undertake ad hoc tasks as requested by HOD or Hotel Manager.
