What you will be doing as the NPI Engineer / New Product Introduction Engineer
- Managing customer technical enquiries and reviewing documentation.
- Translating customer requirements into precise product specifications.
- Preparing business cases and presenting to senior management.
- Overseeing all phases of the NPI process, from prototype to production.
- Ensuring accurate completion of all project documentation.
- Attending customer meetings (remotely and occasionally in person).
- Supporting products throughout their lifecycle, including troubleshooting and assisting quality investigations.
What you'll need to apply for the NPI Engineer / New Product Introduction Engineer
- Extensive experience in new product introduction (NPI) within manufacturing.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgy, Aerospace Engineering, or similar.
- Customer-facing experience, ideally within NPI.
- Good project management skills.
- CAD experience is desirable.
