What you will be doing as the NPI Engineer / New Product Introduction Engineer

  • Managing customer technical enquiries and reviewing documentation.
  • Translating customer requirements into precise product specifications.
  • Preparing business cases and presenting to senior management.
  • Overseeing all phases of the NPI process, from prototype to production.
  • Ensuring accurate completion of all project documentation.
  • Attending customer meetings (remotely and occasionally in person).
  • Supporting products throughout their lifecycle, including troubleshooting and assisting quality investigations.

What you'll need to apply for the NPI Engineer / New Product Introduction Engineer

  • Extensive experience in new product introduction (NPI) within manufacturing.
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgy, Aerospace Engineering, or similar.
  • Customer-facing experience, ideally within NPI.
  • Good project management skills.
  • CAD experience is desirable.
