The team
The Technical Integration Analyst will work in the Integration Team to manage and deliver the day to day support for the Group Technology enterprise integration platform.
Become a significant part of a team that is fully versed in the new SAAS and legacy systems used by ITV, that operates under a process driven support and development operating model, that focuses on prioritised task driven day to day operations, working seamlessly with all 3rd party bodies and creating value added relationships across ITV.
The role
- Be responsible for day-to-day management of Snaplogic platform, monitoring and carrying out daily checks to ensure availability and successful completion of scheduled integrations.
- Liaise with business stakeholders and technical teams to resolve integration errors.
- Provide support to the outsourced provider in the day to management of Oracle Integrations within the Oracle PaaS layer
- Perform regular reviews of batch schedules, continuously seeking to improve run times, conducting performance tuning where necessary
- Support infrastructure and Application release change activities to ensure integrity of integration and PaaS platforms
- Identify automation opportunities and work with relevant Service Leads to deliver through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Accept and translate business requirements from service leads to deliver new integrations or improve existing integrations.
- Design, develop, test and release integrations and Paas components among various enterprise systems and 3rd parties via event handling and API, including but not limited to 3rd party applications, Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM, Identity and Access Management, user provisioning, single sign-on, email.
- Follow best practices for integrations with standard enterprise systems liaising with ITV TDA
- Maintain technical knowledge base documents ensuring all components are logged within code repositories e.g Github and CMDB
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Extensive experience of iPaaS development with any leading iPaaS platforms such as Dell Boomi, Workato, Informatica or SnapLogic(prefered).
- A strong understanding of and experience with integration standards and transports including SFTP, SOAP/REST APIs, XML, and JSON
- Experience translating business requirements into technical requirements and a solid understanding of database concepts and fluency in SQL
- Experience in creating architectural designs that start with business processes and end with data flow and data mapping through to implementing, improving, and fixing integration solutions using a wide variety of data sources and targets.
