Job Description
Design, develop, and improve software using various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Sierra workstream as a Software Engineer – SDM Config Designer within Barclays Financial Assistance (BFA), aligned to Customer Care Needs Lab.
- Collaborate with business analysts and Sierra PO’s to refine design sessions and create a healthy backlog for the SDM feature team.
- Create low-level configuration designs based on business requirements.
- Guide the feature team on Sierra business processes and configurations.
- Participate in test scenario reviews to ensure full coverage.
- Identify risks and work closely with Sierra TDM to address them.
This role is crucial as we lack internal expertise; hence, external hiring is necessary. The individual will work on solutions from the enterprise program backlog, targeted for delivery within 8-12 months.
