I'm working with a SaaS start-up in the B2B retail space they've just closed Series A and are kicking off a new payments platform for their client base. They're building smart tools for retailers to manage suppliers, stock, and payments all in one place.
They need a strong full stack JavaScript contractor to help lead this greenfield build. You'll be working closely with the CTO and product team to bring the new feature to life.
The stack:
- Frontend: Vue3, TypeScript
- Backend: Node.js, PostgreSQL, Stripe API, GraphQL exposure, RESTful API design
- Infrastructure: Docker, AWS, CI/CD Pipelines
What they need from you:
- 5+ years of full stack JavaScript experience with strong commercial use of Vue and Node
- Ability to design, develop and document scalable APIs and microservices
- Comfortable integrating third-party services (Stripe experience essential)
- Experience managing PostgreSQL databases and designing relational data models
- Strong TypeScript fundamentals and ability to enforce typing and testing standards
- Familiar with containerised environments and deploying via AWS
- Confident in handling security, authentication and role-based access at scale
- Ability to work independently and make architectural decisions when needed
