This growing Health and Wellness business is seeking a Global Innovation Manager to join a small team of like-minded individuals. This is a new role that will contribute to the expanding team, providing you with the opportunity to leverage your expertise and take ownership of innovation. Of course I don’t have to tell you how to suck eggs when it comes to a global innovation role – there are barriers, challenges, and a lot more to the role than just the innovation pipeline – but here you have the beauty of a scaling business who have been recently acquired and therefore are now a global competitor, but still maintain a structure where you can get shit done! You will have complete autonomy reporting into the Global CMO, where you will lead and develop the long-term innovation strategy and roadmap for the EMEA region, achieving financial goals and strategic outcomes for the business, as well as product innovation, consumer claims and repositioning.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the development of long-term innovation strategy and roadmap for EMEA.
- Lead the roadmap for the specific categories globally.
- Leverage global innovation
- Develop pipeline including product innovation, consumer claims, and repositioning.
- Develop teams on innovation.
- Prepare and present global and local approvals (concepts, business cases, P&L, forecasting).
- Own product development process end to end.
- Develop global innovation toolkits and handovers.
- Partner with cross functional teams to identify growth opportunities, consumer needs, emerging trends, and technologies.
- Ongoing analysis of business data.
- Work closely with marketing.
