We have an exciting role of QC Analyst Microbiology in Nutricia Danone. As a Microbiology Laboratory Analyst at Nutricia, you will be at the heart of our quality function, ensuring the smooth daily operation of our microbiology lab. You’ll carry out routine testing, maintain KPIs, support audits, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role is vital in upholding the safety and integrity of our products, which are used by vulnerable consumers, and offers the opportunity to work across multiple functions within the Quality Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological analysis in line with SOPs, GMP, and GLP standards
- Maintain and report on KPIs within the lab cell structure
- Support audits (GLP, DGMP) and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Train team members and support technical development
- Manage lab equipment, stock, and consumables
- Assist with root cause analysis and out-of-specification investigations
- Support the introduction and validation of new methods and technologies
- Deputise for the area cell leader when required
What We’re Looking For
- BSc in Microbiology or a science-based field (preferred)
- Experience in Pharma or FMCG environments
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, target-driven setting
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Familiarity with PCR analysis and food ingredient processing is a plus
- Knowledge of LIMS systems is desirable
