Actuarial Associate – 28594

Oversee and perform a range of Actuarial tasks within the Company and provide technical Actuarial input and explanation as necessary. Location: Dorking Category: Actuarial Type: Permanent Key Duties (Including but not limited to): Actuarial Associates are expected to move between functions to develop competence in the different Actuarial activities carried out within the Company. The 4 principal activities are Actuarial Risk & Capital, Actuarial Reporting, Actuarial Systems, and Pricing. To have a good level of knowledge and understanding and be able to play a lead role in at least one of the Actuarial activities. To actively develop knowledge and understanding in the remaining Actuarial activities. To carry out Actuarial investigations & analyses and lead project teams as required. Student actuary with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience of actuarial work and 6 actuarial examination passes. Preferably possess a relevant degree with a grade of 2:1 or above. Detailed understanding of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Excel software, R, VBA, PowerBI, Actuarial specific software & Python desirable.
