Description
Onsite, London
Freetrade’s mission is to become the default place to invest. Investing has been too complicated and expensive for too long, keeping millions from making the most of their savings. We’re changing that. We’re building our team and looking for people who are excited to reshape how our customers invest and grow their wealth. If you’re driven by solving complex problems and building innovative products, you’ll fit right in.
2025 is a big year for us. In January, we announced a game changing deal to become part of the IG Group. We’ll continue to operate as an independent business while gaining access to the resources and support of an established leader in the space. This year, we’re accelerating our roadmap and taking our products to the next level. We’re building new features like mutual funds, bonds, and family investment tools. We’re also exploring how we can leverage AI to deliver an even better experience for our customers.
We’re looking for a Senior Partnerships Growth Marketer to help us scale our marketing efforts and unlock new opportunities to achieve our growth and profitability targets. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in driving our marketing strategies forward, owning key initiatives such as:
- Managing and scaling our affiliate program
- Leading a refreshed influencer strategy
- Identifying and executing brand partnerships
- Supporting commercial partnership development
If you’re passionate about driving results, optimising performance, and making an impact, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Affiliate Program Management & Growth: Design, manage, and optimise our affiliate program to drive efficient user acquisition. Identify top-performing affiliates, ensure timely performance reporting, and grow the channel through structured testing and outreach.
- Influencer Strategy Leadership: Build and lead our refreshed influencer marketing strategy – from defining the right creators and platforms to working closely with creators on compliant, engaging campaigns that drive measurable results.
- Brand Partnerships: Identify, negotiate, and activate co-marketing partnerships with aligned consumer brands that share our mission. Develop go-to-market strategies with partners, managing end-to-end execution and post-campaign analysis.
- Commercial Partnership Support: Collaborate with the broader team to assess and support new commercial opportunities, including financial service integrations, media partnerships, and product-aligned distribution deals.
- Data-Driven Performance Optimisation: Monitor and analyse partner and campaign performance using web and app analytics, identifying opportunities to improve partner quality, audience targeting, and return on spend.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing teams to ensure partner-led activities are well-integrated into broader growth efforts and meet regulatory standards.
- Experimentation & Iteration: Develop hypotheses and run experiments across affiliate and influencer channels to uncover new, scalable growth tactics. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and channel diversification.
- Budget Ownership: Own and manage the affiliate and influencer budget, optimising for ROI and scaling spend across high-performing partnerships.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Partnerships & Affiliate Growth: 4–6 years’ experience in performance or growth marketing, with a strong focus on partnerships, affiliate marketing, and influencer-led acquisition. Proven ability to scale affiliate programs – from recruiting and onboarding high-performing partners to optimising program structure and ROI. Experience managing influencer marketing programs end-to-end, including briefing, content compliance, performance tracking, and creator relationship management.
- Strategic & Commercial Acumen: Skilled at identifying, negotiating, and executing high-impact brand partnerships and co-marketing campaigns that align with company goals. Strong commercial judgment with the ability to assess partnership opportunities and support broader business development initiatives.
- Performance & Channel Optimisation: Data-driven mindset with experience analysing partner performance, campaign metrics, and user behaviour to optimise acquisition efficiency. Hands-on experience using attribution and analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Mixpanel, Branch) to measure channel impact and inform strategic decisions. Ability to design and execute experiments (A/B tests, pilot campaigns) to validate new acquisition tactics across affiliate, influencer, and partner-led channels.
- Collaboration & Execution: Strong cross-functional collaborator with experience working alongside compliance, legal, marketing, and content teams to ensure aligned, compliant execution. Comfortable managing budgets, forecasting spend, and reporting on performance to stakeholders. Effective communicator who can manage external partners and internal teams with clarity and accountability.
- Sector Experience: Experience in B2C tech or fintech, ideally within a regulated environment, with a bias towards execution-heavy, high-growth roles.
