King Healthcare are currently assisting a leading private hospital in London in their search for a Pre-assessment Nurse. This role will involve pre-admissions and discharge to the ward. This client is a specialist within private elective surgery and are seeking experienced nurses within this environment.
The Role
This position will involve all aspects of pre-assessment for patients and discharging from the ward who are having surgical procedures. You will work closely with peri-operative and post-operative teams to ensure maximum efficiency, effective utilisation of resources and seamless delivery of top-quality patient care. You will be responsible for leading and managing the pre-assessment patient pathway ensuring the patients safety and prevention of same day surgical cancellations. This will include thorough risk assessment for the patient both surgically and anaesthetically.
The Candidate
The ideal applicant for this role will be an experienced Nurse with 2 yearsβ + in pre-assessment although all experience within private hospitals or pre-assessment will be considered.
Salary and Benefits
The salary on offer for this position is between Β£30,000 β Β£40,000 dependent on experience. In addition are several benefits including a generous annual leave allowance, private pension scheme, employee discounts etc.
