We have an exceptional opportunity to join our Reservations Team at The Lanesborough. Awarded No. 1 Hotel in London in the Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards, on the doorstep of Hyde Park, just a short walk from Harrods, Harvey Nichols and London's most exclusive shopping district; Sloane Street and Knightsbridge, this grand luxury mansion has undergone an inspired renovation by the famed interior designer Alberto Pinto. As Assistant Head of Reservations, you will work closely with Head of Reservations for overseeing daily operations, optimising inventory and revenue opportunities, and ensuring coordination with key departments to support a smooth and personalised guest journey. You will encourage employees to be creative and innovative, challenge and recognise them for their contribution to the success of the operation. You will also develop the team's skills and abilities through training and development as well as leading their annual appraisals. The role will require you to liaise and communicate efficiently with the respective hotel departments to ensure a seamless experience for all our guests and teamwork with the Reservations, Sales and Events teams.
The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Previous experience within Front Office in a 4* or 5* establishment is essential and experience in the luxury London market would be preferred
- Excellent command of the English language and a second language would be preferred
- Previous experience in a supervisory role
- Ability to work on own initiative is essential
- Knowledge of Opera system would be preferred
