Supply Desk is a nationwide education recruitment company specialising in Primary and SEND education. We place our teaching staff in day-to-day and long-term placements across Sussex in various Primary and Secondary schools.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Individual Needs Assistant to join a school in Brighton starting September. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with SEN, tailoring approaches to their individual learning needs.
  • Create an inclusive, positive environment that fosters well-being and development.
  • Manage challenging behaviour with appropriate de-escalation techniques.
  • Adapt to different school environments and collaborate effectively with staff.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with SEN (including Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties) is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Current DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
