We are currently recruiting for an experienced professional to provide a high quality, responsive, learner-centred service to students by developing and delivering impartial careers information, advice and guidance to support all learners across College campuses. The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree or have an equivalent professional careers related qualification; the successful candidate must hold a level 6 careers qualification or Level 4 Careers Qualification willing to undertake training to gain a Level 6 Qualification, combined with strong interpersonal and effective communication skills to successfully advise & guide students. Successful Level 4 applicants will be on a fixed term contract for 12 months to allow completion for the Level 6 Qualification. Must Have: Educated to Degree Level or have an equivalent professional careers related qualification (minimum Level 6) Prior relevant experience, including evidence of promoting equality of opportunity for students from diverse backgrounds, is essential to this post. Evidence of continuous updating of skills and knowledge of current priorities including the Gatsby Standards. Experience of working as UCAS co-coordinator with a variety of applicants in an educational establishment. A minimum of 2 yearsβ experience of careers guidance including substantial involvement with FE learners. Experience of developing and delivering learner focused interactive group sessions. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of Student Finance and 19+ advanced Learning Loans. Must have an up to date DBS or be on the update service. #J-18808-Ljbffr
