We have a vacancy available for an Application Technician to support the process application of paint onto vehicles. The role specifically involves:
- Responsible for Health & Safety and reporting.
- Process application batches using the necessary equipment.
- Produce batches of paint.
- Supply to various areas.
- Awareness of different technology.
- Follow all procedures and work instructions.
- Producing shift reports.
- Supporting the Mix room as and when required.
- Carry out any other reasonable requests/duties made by the Supervisor or Line Manager.
Additionally, the following skills and experience would be advantageous:
- A sound knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety regulations.
- A strong focus on process and occupational safety.
- Use of SemiTech application robot equipment.
- Experience of trouble shooting and problem-solving techniques.
- At least 3 years of industrial experience in a production facility.
- Basic Maths and English.
This position will be based on a 2 shift pattern, Morning & Afternoon. Additional hours will be required as necessary. Shift times - 2-week rotation, 1 week of mornings and 1 week of afternoons.
