Sunset+Vine, the sports arm of Tinopolis Group, is a global sports media company with major international host broadcast production contracts and UK and international broadcast commissions. We produce more than 2,000 hours of original sports programming a year - a combination of live, highlights and feature programming. We are based in London, with offices in Singapore, Glasgow, Cardiff and Milan.

The Role

Sunset+Vine are recruiting a dedicated Researcher to join our London-based team in Hammersmith. The role will focus primarily on our live sports coverage for Prime Video’s UK broadcasts of the UEFA Champions League with the opportunity to contribute to other productions across the company throughout the year. You will be part of the Editorial Team reporting directly to the Executive Producer. This role involves working closely with colleagues at every stage of production to research, generate and develop ideas for live programming and feature content. You will also take on regular weekly duties outlined below. Your work will help ensure our output is accurate, relevant and engaging.

We are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of European football and a passion for uncovering compelling stories, statistics and historical insights that enhance the Prime viewers experience across all of our coverage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of concepts and content across all areas of production in collaboration with the Editorial Team
  • Provide in-depth research, statistics and storylines to support match, coverage studio discussions and digital content
  • Work alongside producers, APs and graphics teams to ensure content is accurate and engaging
  • Assist with fact-checking to maintain editorial standards and credibility
  • Source and log key match footage and work with editors and VT teams to identify relevant material
  • Develop ideas for features, interviews and storytelling segments
  • Manage the organisation and upkeep of all files and footage using S+V and Prime MAM systems
  • Liaise with editors, talent and production coordinators to ensure smooth delivery of content
  • Edit rushes and deliver rough cuts when required
  • Manage the integration of sponsorship elements across all UCL UK coverage
  • Source imagery for all graphics partners
  • Oversee delivery of the UEFA Weekly Magazine Show
  • Oversee delivery of Countdown Clocks
  • Travel to matches across Europe and work alongside ENG crews to gather footage
  • Develop relationships with key archive suppliers

Candidate Profile

  • Experience working as a Researcher, Production Assistant or in a similar role within sports broadcasting
  • Strong knowledge of European football with a focus on the UEFA Champions League and Premier League
  • Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, AVID, OPTA and HIVE (UEFA’s media server) is a plus
  • Skilled in research and able to create concise compelling editorial content
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines during live productions
  • Understanding of broadcast workflows
  • Proactive, collaborative and eager to learn

PLEASE NOTE: Fixed term contract August 2025 – May 2026. This role is based in London and the successful candidate will need to be in the office regularly when not travelling for matches. The role involves working some unsociable hours, bank holidays and occasional weekend shifts on site.
