JakesFilms Leeds, England, United Kingdom We’re looking for a highly skilled, fast-turnaround Video Editor to join Jakes Films and help create cinematic, engaging content for brands, businesses, and influencers. This role is deadline-driven , requiring quick execution, creative storytelling, and high-quality editing across a variety of projects, including talking head content, cinematic reels, behind-the-scenes edits, and social media videos . What You’ll Be Doing: Editing high-quality content quickly & efficiently Color grading & refining visuals for a polished, professional look Creating engaging short-form content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) Matching reference edits & cutting videos to music/sound design Managing fast-paced projects with tight deadlines Organizing & delivering final assets in a structured format What We’re Looking For: Fast, efficient editor – Must be able to turn around edits quickly without sacrificing quality Deadline-driven – Must meet project timelines & handle multiple edits per week Strong storytelling ability – Ability to structure content in an engaging way Proficiency in Premiere Pro & After Effects (DaVinci Resolve for grading is a bonus) Understanding of viral trends & social media editing Organized & detail-oriented – Ability to work within our Notion project management system What You’ll Get: Competitive pay based on experience & output Consistent projects – Working across multiple industries & brands Potential travel opportunities Be part of a creative, fast-moving team that produces top-tier content If you’re a fast, talented, and reliable editor who can deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines , we want to hear from you!
