Responsibilities include: Managing a team of temporary accommodation officers and property inspectors. Leading the operational delivery of the Council’s Temporary Accommodation (TA) Placement or Management service, in accordance with PVII Housing Act 1996 as amended. Managing either the TA Management Team or the TA Placement Team as directed. Overseeing temporary accommodation provisions under Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996 and other relevant provisions. Ensuring contractual and performance management of agreements with accommodation providers, addressing non-compliance issues. Providing quality service to residents and landlords with support from the Temporary Accommodation Service Manager. Experience/Knowledge Needed: Experience in Local Authority or Public Sector roles.
