Trading Systems Engineer

We have partnered with a world-leading proprietary trading firm to find a Trading Systems Engineer to join their Global Trading Systems team and support all of their proprietary trading tools across their trading platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to break into the buy side and work in a hyper-successful trading firm. You will be troubleshooting issues that arise, improving their monitoring processes, carrying out host migrations, and communicating with trading and development teams among other duties. They are looking for an engineer with experience in supporting a production environment in a financial firm. They are looking for experience troubleshooting networking connectivity, exchange protocols, working with the Linux command line, and hands-on scripting. They can offer unlimited compensation and are more focused on finding the right engineer than restricting people to a fixed salary range. They will always offer an excellent increase on your current take-home. They would like the engineer in the office as much as possible, with the opportunity to reduce that to 3 days/week in the office once you are trained on and up to date on their internal systems and tools.
