Salary: £12.25–£14 per hour DOE
Hours: Full-Time
Typical Responsibilities
- Reception Duties: Greet patients, manage appointments, handle telephone inquiries, and provide information about services.
- Administrative Support: Assist with filing, photocopying, scanning, and maintaining patient records.
- Prescription Management: Process repeat prescriptions and manage prescription requests.
- Patient Assistance: Help patients with queries and ensure they are directed to the appropriate healthcare professional.
Desirable Experience
- MUST have experience in a GP/NHS/Primary Care setting.
- Familiarity with SystmOne, the clinical system used by the practice.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of clinical workflows.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Reception or Customer Service Certificates or equivalent experience in similar roles.
- GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with good typing and keyboard skills.
- MUST have experience as a medical receptionist.
